mspgcc4 is no longer supported. Please use the newer toolchain at the MSPGCC project. (This was a port of the GCC 4.x branch to the Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontroller core. It is based on the MSPGCC project that is stuck with GCC 3.2.3.)

PEARL is a high level procedural programming language, which was especially designed for the demanding need to have an expressive and comfortable language for solving multitasking problems when controlling technincal processes. PEARL is an abbreviation for "(P)rocess and (E)xperiment (A)utomation (R)ealtime (L)anguage". It was designed around 1975 at the IRT Institute of the Leibniz University in Hannover with the idea in mind to have an easy to learn programming language for realtime problems. For more, also historical information please visit (http://www.pearl90.de/). In 1998 PEARL-90 was standardized by the Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. in DIN 66253-2. PEARL provides the standard data types and structures known from other procedural languages like e.g. PASCAL. FLSDK is collection of custom written scripts designed to ease compiling the FLDIGI Suite of applications, including NBEMS, from source code. Included in the scripts, is the ability to install and manage MXE Cross. MXE ( M cross environment ) is a Makefile that compiles a cross compiler and cross compiles many free libraries such as SDL and Qt, FLTK and many more. FLSDK uses MXE to build ( compile ) both Win32 test binaries and the NSIS installer associated with each application. -
