Open Source Python Data Formats Software for ChromeOS

Grassroots DiCoM is a C++ library for DICOM medical files. It is accessible from Python, C#, Java and PHP. It supports RAW, JPEG, JPEG 2000, JPEG-LS, RLE and deflated transfer syntax. It comes with a super fast scanner implementation to quickly scan hundreds of DICOM files. It supports SCU network operations (C-ECHO, C-FIND, C-STORE, C-MOVE). PS 3.3 & 3.6 are distributed as XML files. It also provides PS 3.15 certificates and password based mecanism to anonymize and de-identify DICOM datasets.

A Python library for efficient XML and HTML processing, known for speed and compatibility. The lxml XML toolkit is a Pythonic binding for the C libraries libxml2 and libxslt. It is unique in that it combines the speed and XML feature completeness of these libraries with the simplicity of a native Python API, mostly compatible but superior to the well-known ElementTree API. csv2odf can create business intelligence reports from csv data sources with output to ods, odt, html, xlsx, or docx documents. It uses a template file that you design to control the layout, fonts, and colors. Just query your database with output to csv (or tsv), then use csv2odf to insert the data into your template to produce a nice looking formatted output. It is a command line tool and you can automate the generation of reports by using scripts and cron. It can be used to create spreadsheets and documents for LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Microsoft Office Excel and Word. Dominate is a Python library for creating and manipulating HTML documents using an elegant DOM API. It allows you to write HTML pages in pure Python very concisely, which eliminates the need to learn another template language, and lets you take advantage of the more powerful features of Python. Dominate can also use keyword arguments to append attributes onto your tags. Most of the attributes are a direct copy from the HTML spec with a few variations. Through the use of the += operator and the .add() method you can easily create more advanced structures. By default, render() tries to make all output human readable, with one HTML element per line and two spaces of indentation.

dft is a support class or library (depending on language/implementation) to allow dynamic formatting of HTML, data transmissions, print streams or anything else. The system uses templates to separate data views from procedural code.

This is a good idead, however, there are many aspects arising from this: * you'll yourself be responsible for this dictionary, including garbage collection (of in-dict variables) etc. * there's no locality for variable variables, all are global within the dictionary, unless you locally define different dictionaries for this purpose * you are more flexible, e.g. you can decide to overwrite existing variables or, alternatively, to raise an exception on overwriting (e.g. for const variables) * if you want to rename a variable name, you'll have to do it manually * ...
