    tbtrayicon

    Thunderbird tray icon add-on

A very simple add-on for Thunderbird 68.2+ that uses native messaging to display a persistent icon in the KDE systray. You definitely need a native binary in addition to the add-on. There is only one at the moment for KDE: a Qt5 application written in C++. I suggest using the latest Thunderbird version 68.3.1, which fixes a bug in an API function when searching for unread messages. It may or may not work with earlier versions.

    CardDAV for Synology Mail Station

    CardDAV for Synology Mail Station

Synology DSM install package for adding CardDAV plugin to Roundcube

Synology Mail Station uses Roundcube for web based mail. Although Synology has a CardDAV Server now, the Roundcube they ship with Mail Station has no plugin for actually using it. This installable package for Synology DSM adds the CardDAV interface to Roundcube, allowing usage of the contacts from your CardDAV server. This package is based on the excellent "RoundCubeMail CardDAV" plugin of Benjamin "blind-coder" Schieder, as published on: https://github.com/blind-coder/rcmcarddav.

You drag all the files from Outlook and then start renaming them as useful file names which include the sender, date, recipient etc. You start renaming the file and forget the sent date. You re-open it, read the date, close it, continue renaming and erm....who was it from again!? You rename three messages in five minutes and give up on this task...

    RSS Event Manager

Allows you to submit events to an RSS feed via rest api (http post)

This tool was originally written to replace the massive amounts of email sent out by automated build scripts. Once this tool is deployed to a server, your scripts can simply use a HTTP Post to submit events, and users can subscribe to the RSS feed to receive updates, instead of receiving an email for each event. It is trivial to add a new feed, and using http to submit events means that firewalls are (usually) not a concern.
