CLISP is a portable ANSI Common Lisp implementation and development environment by Bruno Haible. Interpreter, compiler, debugger, CLOS, MOP, FFI, Unicode, sockets, CLX. UI in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, and Danish.

Kayacc is an alternate name for the TOMBO project. I am in the process of updating the Tombo project page with version 2.1.0. Please download Tombo2.1.0.tar.gz from the Files tab. Tombo is a compiler generation toolkit for constructing compilers and interpreters. It includes a BNF compiler that generates parsers for context free grammars, and a class library to support compiler development. The class library supports symbol tables, Unicode text manipulation, reserved word mappings, and translating between Unicode and byte oriented encodings. PyInstaller is a program that converts (packages) Python programs into stand-alone executables, under Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, AIX and Solaris. Its main advantages over similar tools are that PyInstaller works with any version of Python since 2.3, it builds smaller executables thanks to transparent compression, it is fully multi-platform, and uses the OS support to load the dynamic libraries, thus ensuring full compatibility. The main goal of PyInstaller is to be compatible with 3rd-party packages out-of-the-box. This means that, with PyInstaller, all the required tricks to make external packages work are already integrated within PyInstaller itself so that there is no user intervention required. You'll never be required to look for tricks in wikis and apply custom modification to your files or your setup scripts. As an example, libraries like PyQt, Django or matplotlib are fully supported, without having to handle plugins or external data files manually.

The freeWrap program turns TCL/TK scripts into single-file binary executable programs. freeWrap can wrap TCL/TK applications that consist of multiple script and binary files. freeWrap combines all the files together into a single executable file.

Interpreter, compiler, libraries, documentation and examples for the Seed7 programming language. Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C/C++ and Java. In Seed7 new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used where it brings advantages and not in places where other solutions are more obvious. Seed7 spares no effort to support portable programming. Several driver libraries assure that the access to operating system resources such as files, directories, network, clock, keyboard, console and graphics are done in a portable way. Although Seed7 contains several concepts from other programming languages, it is generally not considered a direct descendant of any other programming language.

Squirrel is a light weight programming language featuring higher-order functions,classes/inheritance,delegation,tail recursion,generators,cooperative threads,exception handling, reference counting and garbage collection on demand. C-like syntax.

GNU Prolog is a free implementation (under GPL) of the logic programming language PROLOG. It can compile to native machine code which is extremely fast in execution. Another feature is the included constraint solver.

X11-Basic is a dialect of the BASIC programming language with graphics capability that integrates features like shell scripting, cgi-Programming and full graphical visualisation into the easy to learn basic language on modern computers.

The Portable Forth Environment implements the ANSI Forth Standard, it is fully written in C, the newer version has a module concept, and it is fully multithreaded. Autoconf used. Tested in embedded environments.

SableCC is a parser generator which generates object-oriented frameworks for building compilers, interpreters and other text parsers. SableCC keeps a clean separation between machine and user code which leads to a shorter development cycle.

Psyco showed that it is possible to execute Python code at speeds approaching that of fully compiled languages, by "specialization". The project is now dead and replaced by PyPy: http://pypy.org/

Dyalect is a dynamic programming language for .NET Core platform. It is lightweight, fast and modern. MinForth V3.4 is a classic Forth system with command-line interface. Development resource requirements are minimal. A source text editor and a C compiler are sufficient. By design no toolchain is required to adapt or rebuild MinForth. A complete rebuild takes only few seconds. Current sources are for Windows and Linux (32-bit or 64-bit). MinForth primitive definitions are written in mixed Forth and C language and are transpiled to pure C code. Main but not exclusive application for the transpiler is to build the MinForth V3.4 high-level Forth compiler. MinForth V3.4 is widely conformant to the Forth-2012 draft standard and passes the usual test suites. The Mozart Programming System is an open source implementation of the programming language Oz 3. Oz is a multi-paradigm language that supports declarative programming, object-oriented programming, constraint programming, concurrency and distributed programming as part of a coherent whole.

This project is dedicated to developing more readable format(s) for Lisp-based languages (such as Common Lisp and Scheme) and implementing those formats (readers, pretty-printers, editor macros, etc.). MIT license preferred, to spread them widely.
