Yes I did read those which actually helped me fix my problem. It was this one actually which did it: https://prosody.im/doc/example_config -- (replace example.com with your domain name) VirtualHost "example.com" Regards Michael Knill On 3 Feb 2016, at 9:01 PM, Michael Keuter <li...@mk...> wrote: Am 03.02.2016 um 07:05 schrieb Michael Knill <mic...@ip...>: > Hi all > > I have been playing with Prosody and trying to set up SRV based connectivity using user@domain JID’s. > Forgive me if I am wrong but the Doco misses an important setting when doing the above which got me! > > In DNS Configuration, if using user@domain JID’s, the hostname: field (VirtualHost) must be changed from host.domain to just domain. Hi all I have been playing with Prosody and trying to set up SRV based connectivity using user@domain JID’s. Forgive me if I am wrong but the Doco misses an important setting when doing the above which got me! In DNS Configuration, if using user@domain JID’s, the hostname: field (VirtualHost) must be changed from host.domain to just domain. If not you get ‘This server does not serve <domain>’. Is this the correct way of doing it? Regards Michael Knill |
