I'm afraid you are going to have to figure this out for yourself. If you use CentOS6 or Debian6 it should work if you carefully follow what is described in the docs. http://doc.astlinux.org/devdoc:documentation All the developers use either CentOS6 or Debian6 and the build environment works for us as described. If you want to add a package for your custom build you need to understand how Buildroot works. http://buildroot.net/downloads/buildroot.html There is a fair amount to learn. Usually it is the easiest to find a very similar package and use it as a guide. Guys, Yesterday I had the misfortune of my ISP being down for about an hour (a local upstream router failed). In the past with Asterisk 1.4 and uClibc AstLinux 0.7.x (and earlier) the box almost always locked-up tight after 10-15 minutes. The theory was uClibc DNS network stack coupled with Asterisk 1.4 caused the lockup issues. The good news, with Asterisk 1.8 and AstLinux 1.0.2-pre my box never locked-up for the hour no packets were being forwarded. I could ssh and access the web interface without any problems. Anyone else confirm this good news? Lonnie |

Michael, I tried setting "udpbindaddr=0.0.0.0" and not defining "transport", I get the same warning. This is a 1.8.9.0 change, and is not reflected in the sample sip.conf. Very minor.
