Welcome to the BackDrop wiki!

BackDrop was conceived as a tool to simplify the task of creating high-resolution wallpapers to span multi-monitor desktops. Tasks simplified by BackDrop include:

  • Setting up the monitor layout, using up to four monitors, with any combination of arrangement and resolution.
  • Resizing source images to exact dimensions, specifying either width or height, while retaining aspect ratio.
  • Snapping source images to monitor corners to ensure that the final image doesn't leave unfilled space around the edges, and source images don't extend beyond the monitor edge.

For instructions on using BackDrop visit the [Workflow] page.
