Cabernet priority will be the organization of your mp3's on disk. As we all know, once a player has scanned your mp3(s) it will keep the meta data in a database (or a bloated xml file) and uses that data to let you interact with your music. If you change the song's meta data, most (but not all) players will update the ID3v2 tags. But they (especially iTunes) will also drop loads of crap in other fields. How about if you change the name of the song, what happens to the mp3? Does the player update the file name? How about if you change the album name? Will the player update the directory name? If yes, you've probably let the player manage the files, but did you get any input regarding how it will do it? Do you have an artists directory called "various" where 30% of your songs end up?
