Hello, I am using this wonderful Live package and successfully managed to clone a bootable multisystem USB stick to another one of same dimension (4043 MB). Shortly, on the USB stick I managed to make 2 primary partitions, first one FAT32 with Windows and Linux bootable utilities (with syslinux on it) and the second one HFS+ (active) with Apple OSX utilities and applications. The partitions are selectable under the OSX bootloader, then, each one works perfectly.
I searched for several days to find a way to clone this USB stick on a bootable DVD but, unsuccessfully. I know that new genuine installation DVD DL from Apple (I own an iMac 17") contains 2 partitions - one with HFS+ file system containing the installation packages of Leopard (recognizable on MacOSX) and the second with Windows drivers for BootCamp (recognizable only in Windows OS), so there is possible to have 2 partitions with different OS's on a DVD.
The question is: How to make this clone from bootable multisystem USB stick to a DVD-R media?
So you want to use the CD to boot on an Intel-based Mac machine or on a PC?

Dear Steven, Thank you so much for developing this package that works wonderful. I already tested the karmic version from nov. 27 2009 and works a bit slower than the previous I had (1.2.2.31). Tested with several USB sticks for both versions:
old one has an average of 120-140 MB/min for FAT32 and 500-600 MB/min for HFS+
new one has an average of 60-80 MB/min for FAT32 and 300-400 MB/min for HFS+ (sure those tests were performed on the same PC, at least twice for each, and under bootable environment).
Your question is very well directed, because I forget to mention the purpose.
I would like to have a DVD-media containing both recovery packages (for WIN and OSX) because I would like to use it to repair/recover the WIN partition (on BootCamp) installed on the iMac 17", along with the Leopard came with my computer. Reason??? The USB stick cannot be protected against writing on it.

To create such a recovery CD, you can refer to http://clonezilla.org/clonezilla-live/doc/showcontent.php?topic=04_Create_Recovery_Clonezilla to create the iso file, then burn it on your DVD.

Again I thank you Steven, but there is something missing.
I followed the instructions indicated by you, but when the program is about to start converting the image created with clonezilla to an ISO image, a redish line says:
"No system files from template live iso are found! Something went wrong!"
"Program terminated"
So, I tried to make the iso from image saved with clonezilla, but either way booted (from Live CD burned or from bootable USB) the result was the same.
Here, I was a little bit puzzled, but then I realized the CD should be launched directly and not loaded in RAM and by this final way I have performed the conversion to ISO.
I would suggest that would be nice to give to user the possibility to select where from the procedure should take the system files for creating the ISO. Is this possible?
Finally, after burning the ISO to a DVD and booting from it, I found that it tries to restore the "clonezilla image" to a device. It means that the new created DVD is not the clone of my bootable USB, it is a bootable DVD trying to restore the image created with clonezilla (image being included inside the ISO).
So, I couldn't solve to clone my bootable USB to a DVD, yet.

Yes, so far the recovery iso or zip is only for CD/DVD or USB flash drive, respectively. It can not be hybrid. If you want to do that in hybrid mode, you can use the customized mode to do that. For more info, please refer to:
