Hello,
Im attpemting to create an image of a dell optiplex 7070 with a KXG60ZNV256G NVMe Toshiba drive in it. After I boot into clonezilla live and select "start clonezilla" the only options displayed are device-image and device-device. When I select device-image only the thumb drive that has CZ on it is displayed (image attached)
I recently successfully imaged several optiplex 7060's (with the same drive installed) with out changing any UEFI settings. After trying the default setting out of the box like I did for the 7060, I have disabled secure boot and changed SATA operation from RAID to ACHI. I am using the latest stable version of CZ and I made a new live disk to rule that out.
I appreciate any and all input/help
resectfully,
Matt
Normally this is due to the Linux kernel from Clonezilla live does not support your hardware. Try to use the latest testing Clonezilla live, e.g., 2.6.4-6 or 20191009-eoan:
https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
They come with newer Linux kernel so it might support your hardware better.
