#32 Automatic update checking
This is a request aimed at making user experience better.
A FidoCadJ instance should be able to automatically check for available updates, this should be easily accomplished using an existing framework for this task.
I'm not familiar with Java but a brief search showed Twinkle [1] that is inspired by Sparkle [2] that aims at providing update checking features with little or no code at all.
