Perfect, thank you! Before updating the app was using 2.6GB, updated, viewed an image, now it's using ~12MB. Much better! =)
Can't connect to windows share - Android 15
FFS! I used the settings transfer on the new phone to copy over contacts, call logs, texts, and network settings from my old phone. The phone auto-connected to the guest network instead of the private one /DOH! It's all working now. Close ticket RE:Operator Error 😳

I posted about the issue on the Motorola (Lenovo) forums. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/moto-g-2025/Can-t-connect-to-shared-folder-on-the-LAN-with-any-filemanager/m-p/5378381?page=1#6602248
I got the app. I created a local host with default settings. I ran the command nc -zv 192.168.77.103 445 it returned nc: Unknown option 'v' So I ran the command nc -z 192.168.77.103 445 it returned nc: connect: No route to host If it works on other devices running android 15 the issue may be specific to the Moto G (2025)? As I mentioned, I use Ghost Commander on all my mobile devices and I've never had this issue before. Note: The device recieved a large update since my last post - Android Version...

Cached files should be deleted on an app's explicit exit. However, that's not always happens. I've added file deletion on each picture viewer exit. Please give a try. https://sourceforge.net/projects/ghostcommander/files/Betas/Ghost%20Commander%201.64.1b6.apk/download
I tried to use another phone with android 15 and had no issues. Can you please perform some tests? Install ConnectBot terminal app. Open a local session. Try to ping your windows machine. By name. By IP address. Try to check if the port 445 open on it, issue a command like: nc -zv 192.168.77.103 445

You don't need the plugin anymore, the SMB functionality is embedded to the main app. I've just tried to access a windows shared folder from an android 15 and had no issues. Are you sure your phone does not have a firewall of some sort installed? Are you accessing your windows by its name or by IP address? Please double check your windows node is actually has the address 192.168.77.103 as on your screenshot. Did you try any other app on your MotoG to access the share?

Ghost Commander is unable to copy file from one DocumentsProvider to another
Sounds good. (I haven't tested it.) Cheers for going the extra kilometer though!
I've added some additional abilities: * Multi-apk install could be done from any location (SFTP or from inside a ZIP). Same way, select the apk files, then tap the item "Install" in the context menu. * On the native file system only, a file which is in fact a ZIP (such as .xapk, .xlsx, etc), could be opened as such through the context menu "Open as ZIP". * On the native file system only, an .xapk or .apks could be installed through the context menu "Install". All inner APK files would be installed....
Hi! It seems to work wonderfully. Good work! Thank you. I've tested it with some random XAPK file from apkpure.com: Telegram 11.7.3 xapk file: https://apkpure.com/telegram/org.telegram.messenger Virus scan results: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/69c1b159916f1cefa3667492a14d5080b129635f0a9fa9983862caccabcd4dc2

I've added an ability to create multiple apk files from a single application. To install them back select all the relevant files, then long tap to pop up the menu and choose "Install". That works on the local native filesystem only. Since I don't have an XAPK file and I don't know where I can get one, I cannot support it. Guess, if XAPK is a just a zip (I don't have a proof or a disproof for that), the user could potentially create it manually from the exported apk files. Please give a try: http...

Oh, so it looks like F-Droid is the best solution for me, at least for now.
I do not manage the F-Droid distribution, please contact them directly.
Add screenshots to F-Droid
They closed my account.
Thank you. I switched to the F-Droid version, and the SAF menu was back. Could I ask why the Google Play version is discontinued? Did Google ask for something unreasonable?
There is no more google play version. Please update from this site (or reinstall (different apk signature!) from f-droid )
No access to SAF in 1.64
copying an installed split-APK app results in missing files
StorageAccessFramework bulk folder delete
Hmm, okay, this is invalid as well:-) Please close. I have figured out that it might be a bug in shelter (the app i'm using for workprofile). If i open the files app and try to do the same, it doesn't delete it either.
So back to this issue, I just reconfirmed that it still happens. Android 15 (latest graphene os), on GC from FDROID, version 1.64.1.b2 Cheers!
I accidentally mixed two issues together, but this one seems to be invalid now. https://sourceforge.net/p/ghostcommander/bugs/112/#47ea This could be closed(i can't do it as far as i see.)
Execuse me OP was coming to the wrong thread, so now it seems to work okay indeed, it goes to the notifications when i minify the app. Sorry for reporting something that was fixed since.
I saw it. Thank you very much!
On the latest versions of android , apps notifications are turned off by default. Either go to from home screen , long tap on the GC icon, then App info/notifications or from GC's Settings/Misc/App notifications.
I'm using Android 15 (latest graphene os). I've tried to reproduce it, but i couldn't, maybe it was updated somewhat? So last time when I enabled it, the app wasn'T started again, but since then there was at least 3 updates from fdroid. So now if i enable it it does not fail, BUT it does not do the filteransfers in a foreground service either, so thats a bug for sure. (I've tried to copy a huge folder, put the app to the background but there was no notification showing up about the progress.)
Crash on Misc Settings Page
I've just allowed to enter time by pattern HH:mm:ss Please give a try. https://sourceforge.net/projects/ghostcommander/files/Betas/Ghost%20Commander%201.64.1b2.apk/download
What's android version you're running? Can you send me a logcat?

Thank you so much for both of you for the fix! I appreciate and use it:)
Yes, this change was made by a request of an other user. The suggested preference has been added, please give a try to the beta version. Thank you.

You’re amazing, it work’s lika a charm, thank you very much.
Added. By default it is hidden. Enable in the properties. Give a try to the latest beta.
Connection to SFTP failed since 1.63.1b4
Thanks!
Sorry for the delay, but I installed the v1.64b1 from F-Droid, and everything works as it should. Thanks a lot ! Oh and BTW, I wouldn't blame you if you decided to stop supporting Android 7.0. It's an old version. I just hope the last working for 7.0 would still be available, that's all :)
"Send to …" toolbar button
Thank you. I have just installed your new APK using adb and it does indeed solve the problem.
I hope this fixes that. Not sure, however, when f-droid would make it a release.
What is the OS version? Also, could you please attach a logcat? Thank you.
