ldap-preg_replace is a small perl script for your command line that can replace LDAP attribute values online based on a regular expression thus making it very powerful but preserves simple usage.
The 0.9.3-1 release is a minor bugfix release to 0.9.3 released yesterday. In 0.9.3-1 the README file was extended to extensively describe the new features. A problem was fixed that made the -F parameter introduced in 0.9.3 inaccessible.
The new version 0.9.3 released yesterday adds a new -F switch to disable the automated search performance tuning and to provide the filter as-is.
Along with this comes a cool new feature that allows you to add values to an empty attribute.
