#7 Engine "Picker"
I would love this feature....
step 1) I design the rocket inside openrocket
step 2) I select a min and max impulse range
step 3) open rocket goes off and pulls all engines in that range and analyzes them
step 4) I get a bar chart or table back that shows the predicted a) altitude, b) speed at tip of launch rod, c) calibers of stability with that engne, d) optimal delay time for that enginem, e) the additional nose weight required for that engine in order to have 1 caliber of stability - and if I added that noseweight, what would the altitude be then
that would be GREAT!
That's a great idea. It will require quite some design and implementation, but I'll add it to my todo-list. Don't hold your breath, though.
