Windows 11 seems to need 64 bit. Downloaded 3.4.8 version which appears to be 32bit. Problem when including external program e.g. videos and powerpoint not working properly.
What version is 64bit?
Both, VLC media player for video, and PowerPoint for presentations, are run as external programs using interactions that don't depend on the bit-depth of either OpenSong or the external program.
There is a problem with screen flashing when switching to an external source, and when switching between slides of a PowerPoint presentation. It has been introduced probably in V3.4.0, is present up to v3.4.8 and has been fixed and is ready for the next release. This bug is independent of the OS version, the OS bit-depth, and independent of the bit depth of external programs, including PowerPoint and VLC media player.
There is currently no 64-bit version of OpenSong available for Windows, but the 32-bit version runs fine.
