In an effort to get a bit more documentation out there for the RDKit and to explain a bit more about the toolkit itself, we've created a wiki at URL:

Thanks to Geoff Hutchinson for pointers on how to make this work.

I just uploaded the win32 binary version of the August2007 RDKit release:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/rdkit/RDKit_Aug2007.win32.tgz

This binary requires python2.5 and either Windows XP or Windows 2000. It might work under Windows Vista, but I haven't tried that at all.

The next file release of the RDKit has been added to the upload area.

In addition to the standard source release, there is a binary release for win32 systems. This requires Python 2.5 and will probably only work under Win2K and XP.

I've prepared a tutorial overview to help one get started using the RDKit from Python. This is available in PDF form on the project downloads page and in source (or PDF) form in SVN.

The current state of the code is available in subversion. There won't be a "files" release until we've had some time to bang on this one for a bit and get the bumps smoothed out.
