I am non-native English speaker. And I am considering to study English by playing adventure games with ScummVM.
For trial, I tried to play some games several minutes. It seems very good for English study.
I think it will be much more useful for English study if the the subtitle shown so far can be read in the scummvm menu ( past subtitle log menu ) or saved to the separate text file or debug console or whatsoever. Pause key can be used to look up unknown words in the dictionary, but sometimes I want to see the past sentences to understand full context more precisely.
