Easy Task Control News

There is a new version of Easy Task Control which fix some bugs found, including the compatability with Windows7 and some new features.

This release is covering some fix about the TreeView manipulation involving performance and grouping.
Also, the system was improved with a Analytic report instead of only the detailed report.
This new report is in HTML format.
The biggest change was on the TreeView of tasks which I mixed the both lists in only one list and now with a new check box to define if will show solved tasks or not.

**** Important Note **** If you already has an instalation of EasyTaskControl you might get only the update Pack and unzip on the instalation folder.

Fix Release:

* Fixed the behavior for effort when is removing an effor and sumarizing the total time.
* Fixed the report opening error. Fixed the Send Report by e-mail error that is a reflect from Report error.
* Fixed some label and controls translation problems.

New Features of EasyTaskControl version 4.0 :

* Hide empty Groups.
* New Tab to create Effort.
* Included fields to provide estimated hours and realized hours.
* Definition of percentual for the task based on the realized hours.

* Save task - You can save a task to archive and be safety.
* Open Task - Open a saved task or a task from another person.
* Drag a TAsk on form to Open - The same functionality to open as a simple way just draging a XML file onto the System.
* Drag Files on Attachments - On the Attachments tab you can add file dragin files onto the list.
* Drag Files on Attach on the Email Form - As the same functionality you can add files draggin on the attachements list on e-mail window.
* Related Tasks - Now TaskControl provides you a relationship between tasks where you can create related tasks for each other.
* New Lay-out of Reports - Now reports are cleaner and funcional.
* New lay-out for Print task. - On the Report window TaskControl has a new way to preview and Print the reports.
* New Lay-out for Schedule Tasks. - The Schedule window is much better now showing a treeView with the task instead of a simple list.
* Shortcuts Keys to operating the System. - You are able to use hot keys to open new tasks or save your current task and another hotkeys showed on the tips through the system.
* Search Text on the Description and Observations - You are able to search for text values on the description and observations and navigate through them
* Configurations for Beep to assign a Wav file to play on the alert.- Now you can choose if the system will just beep you for a scheduled task or will play a wav soud.
* Configurations to define systray minimizing - Is possible to define on configuration settings to minimize the system on systray.
* Tips Window - To improve the user experience TaskControl provides a window with tips about the usage of the system.
* Tool to Compact DataBase File reducing the required size. - Use this tool to compact the dataBase file and reduce cust space.
* New Group Menu to manage your task Group as a simple way - With a new Group menu is easyer to manage your tasks.
* Send one Task by e-mail - Now you can send only one task by e-mail instead of just reports as before.

This release is to update the system with the Help as a Tips form.
Now TaskControl was improved with a Tips System that contains information about whole system and how to do each step on the System.

This release came with new features and some fix. Now the user experience is much better where the user can work only with the keyboard through new shortcuts to create and save tasks.
There is a important news that is a alert about changes on created tasks where the user can't loose changes without save.
Now the new task is showed on the TreeView when is created.

This release provides a final Version as a Windows Installer of TaskControl.

The project is wonderful. Now was updated with a AboutBox to provide some information about the author and an e-mail to contact us.
