Not a new version, still 1.5, but now has a GUI application! (Linux only)
You can run it as you run any other application (for example from Dash on Ubuntu, or GNOME panel etc.)
GUI is written in Python 2, using gtk. If you are on Ubuntu or another mostly used Linux distribution all modules are supposed to be preinstalled. But in case they are not (this is a very low possibility), search for 'gtk' and 'commands' modules and install them manually for Python 2.
Command line version is still available.
