When an open (or read) command is issued to load data (i.e. objects and links), the class diagram window closes unexpectedly. This is an annoying bug, since we have to open and format the class diagram again (either manually or using the clt file). Apparently there is no reason to delete the class diagram window, since loading objects and links does not change the class diagram itself.
