I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but to be sure. You only have to run genwxbind.bat if you edit any of the *.i files. Any changes to the generated files in modules/wxbind or modules/wxbindstc will get overwritten by genwxbind.bat so the real permanent change has to go into the *.i files or into the override file.
