I can't download music, it marks "there was a problem getting the video URL...consider reporting the URL to author" I can see the video in m browser and don't need a proxy

Hi, I stopped working on ytd2 years ago because Google always changes things. there is another project "youtube-dl" that ceased working too because of Google. it's still open source, so if you find out how video downloads works feel free to change ytd2. Regards!

Hi, I have been working on a kernel virtual filesystem library in java. Using this and ytd2 we can make a software that mounts youtube links as files in download youtube video on the user's filesystem. This virtual file can be opened in VLC. Whatever VLC requests will be downloaded. So this way user can watch & download at the same time.

There are a lot of changes, unfortunately it isn't really tested because there is a problem with "Forbidden 403" now. The Purpose is to achieve a better codebase for teamwork.

hi, poblem is google some time changes the URLs to the videos. and these changes has to be coded into ytd2. there are a number of rules that will be applied to the video page source code, to get the the real video URLs. If you can re-engineer the video URLs from browser access to video download of the flash player, than this would help y2d Regards
