Feature-rich way to dig through log files. Can be applied to any type of log. A little slow to load gigabyte-sized log files. I've been using this log viewer for 2 years. The "delta" time column feature is off by default but it's a really neat showing you the distance in time between log file entries. A real step up from just tailing or loading in a plain text editor like UltraEdit, Sublime, etc. At the time of this review, I'm using version 1.4.5 with Java 8 on Windows 10. Most likely you will experience some initial pain authoring a "pattern" file to get OtrosLogViwer to "recognize" your log file; my advice is to get through this initial pain because the benefits are worth it.

A lot of great features like XML/JSON formatting and opening logs using SSH/SFTP.

I'm using it for more than 3 year. Now I can't resolve production issue without it!

Perfect, two thinks missing and it's prime log analyzer. - One thing is right bar with colorized clickable "shortcuts" to marked lines (Because if I select some row and scroll away, it's hard to find it when large files used). - Second is adding icon to get time difference between start and end of selected block of rows (Shows time which log spent in this block of log)
