We believe that free/open source softwares are enough, we don't need pirated softwares on Windows. But most of these aren't portables, or provided by PortableApps.com due to .NET dependencies, 64-bit etc. So we provide what's missing here.
Software publisher who wishes their portablized software taken down, can tip us at https://www.thumbapps.org/2014/11/Contact-Us.html or versapps@gmail.com—we might not be able to respond promptly, but we eventually *will* ...thanks for your patience, and sorry for being such a #naughtyuploader ;)

thumbapps - FeedDemon: This program works OK on Windows 7 Pro x64 but it insists on rewriting a scheduled task for it to run itself on Windows startup despite (i) selecting the option in the program NOT to start with Windows and (ii) deleting the task itself via e,g. ccleaner's Tools menu (scheduled tasks). Seems odd behaviour for a portable application and should be fixed. Interface looks a bit clunky now, QuiteRSS looks more modern and is being maintained plus has native portable version, however FeedDemon seems worth retaining as an alternative since both it and QuiteRSS don't seem to get the cpu heating up when updating feeds, unlike Feedreader.exe.

Gracias

This team creates portable versions of softwares that you can integrate into the PortableApps launcher. I've downloaded a couple dozen of their portable apps and all of them have been working flawlessly so far.
