    "Very Good Separator"

    Pros: Ability to separate virtually every instrument and vocals, including BG vocals remarkably. Takes some work navigating the interface. Keyboard shortcuts a lacking. After spending some time with Demix Pro, you get accustomed to it and what it can and can't do.

    Cons: Somewhat of a learning curve. Not for novice. Should be a musician, in that you're able to separate, in your ear, the different instruments. I use Virtual DJ to separate bass, instruments, drums, percussion and vocals. I will record each separately and then bring each to separate even more. If Demix Pro could do that without the need to pre-separate tracks first, it would be a plus. Not DAW applicable.

    Overall: Overall, it's a pretty good program, best one I've use thus far. I've tried many. The algorithm is nice, could be upgraded, but overall it's worth the price.
