FWIW, I haven't had any further issues. Thanks for the tip on caches.
I'm having the same issue today. I updated today from V3.7.5.6 to V3.7.5.7 because I experienced this issue on Late Show with Stephen Colbert. I was scraping S03E54. I tried changing it to E53 and had the same episode can't be found on tvdb issue noted by drougnor, yet 2 weeks ago it scraped fine on the prior version. Based on this message, I tried some S07 episode renames (E01, E103, etc.) all worked fine. Then some early S08 episodes (E01, E41, E51), and finally S08E53 and E54 again. Oddly, this...
Thanks so much for a great piece of software and a quick fix!
It must have been TMDB because now the scraping is working properly again. No changes on this end. Very odd.
TMDB is having problems scraping with MC today (Aug 8). Yesterday (Aug 7) it was working fine. I was on 3.7.4.7 and upgraded to 3.7.4.8 today and same issue. It was just saying the movies weren't being found. So I tried scraping with IMDB and that worked fine. And then I tried setting it back to TMDB and resraping as well as changing a movie (I could find the movie in TMDB) with the movie changer and it wasn't getting data from TMDB properly, creating extra folders with just the date and without...
Yes; this worked for me as well. Thanks. I use the TMDB scraper most of the time so I had to uncheck that box on Movie Preferences so I could select the correct mirror - www.imdb.com (instead of the us.imdb.com that was selected) - and then check the TMDB scrapber check box again to get things back to working with IMDB to fill in fields I don't reliably get filled from TMDB data.
I, too, am seeing the same issues. I predominantly use TMDB scraper, but sometimes have to go pull some info from IMDB. When I use solely IMDB, it doesn't work correctly. When I use TMDB and ask it to pull other info from IMDB, it seems to pull in most things, but not Plot or Outline. Also, when using the Change Movie function, IMDB does not load and cites a security certificate error. It worked fine on 6/7 when I last scraped movies. Today it does not, so I presume something changed in the interim....
