I'm not exactly a super artist, I've just been drawing for a long time. It's been 10 years today. I've been drawing for 10 years on my own now. Except art school and courses I didn't want to, back in the days I was younger far far ago. It turns out I've gone so far that it would have seemed like fantasy to me from my past. Always remember why you started, even if the natural happiness that comes from drawing has disappeared long ago.
Truth be told, as a person, a human, I've been degrading all this time. Amidst the negativity I create, drawing has become my only positive side and trait. So what if I'm not yet living my dream, there are surely people in the world who dreamed of being in my place. Living someone else's dream isn't bad, if you think about it.

Many things in 2025 remained the same. Laziness, weakness, a desire not to do things that haven't been done, dismotivation, and so on... There's not been much progress. In addition to physical health issues, I also suffer from stress and a lack of concentration. It seems this is no less destructive.
The fears and anxieties predicted for 2025 haven't come true. However, this only pushes them forward on the calendar and stresses me out with uncertainty. And I know that no matter how bad things get, life goes on. And if the worst hasn't happened yet, I should enjoy it doubly while I still can.
It was great to spend another year with you, happy 2026 everyone! I wish you to act instead of waiting. If we don't change today, we will never change.

I finally found the time and ability to create a Discord server for traditional creators and artists. Maybe it will unite us 😏

Returning to the quiestion about the group/server channel/chat for physical media creators... I found several servers, two channels in Tg. Such chats are not uncommon. But they are often dedicated to some author or institution.
It seems that I will still have to create my own chat, as i said before, where the point is to create a community of traditional authors: artists, sculptors, applicators...

Now I want to ask you, actually, authors and creators, on what platform it is worth doing (dis, tg, other alternatives), whether it is worth solving the issue of multilingualism, actually what the main language should be, what are the fundamentally important things, channels there should be. The name of all thing. Will any of you stream. In general, all your ideas and wishes that may be useful in creating an optimal community

All this does not promise to be fast, but apparently everyone is watching and waiting for me to do it

From time to time I wonder if there is a group/server/chat/channel somewhere where traditional artists gather and discuss specifically working with physical media art and material art. Watercolor, pastel, tempera, acrylic, gouache, ink, calligraphy, paper, cardboard, canvas, sculpting, applique, stained glass, embroidery and etc...

I am a member of about ten different servers and art chats, but the vast majority of artists from there work on a computer and do not understand what I mean, and cannot help me with my questions regarding material art, despite their superior skill. Equally, I cannot help them with their questions regarding software and digital media.

Soo im saking if anyone knows of such a place where physical media art dominates and there are skilled authors, or let me know if you would like to find such a place, then I am thinking about creating a kind of a server to fill this niche

February 2 was my anniversary, 5 years since I started my galleries and posting pictures. 5 years since the first step, overcoming fear, 5 years of art (public) 🎉✨✨

True, it still came out in my repertoire. Something didn't work out and I was gone for more than a month.
This sometimes happens when working on complex and important pictures, in which you can't make a mistake and you need to show the pros, then I just sit and wait for that very spiritual impulse and Great Power to do everything to come, and what should have taken a couple of days of work takes weeks of waiting. Admit it, you've had this happen, right?

Well. These 5 years. Yes. My contribution to this world does not seem big, with my level of laziness and naive dreaming. But this is the best that there is so far. Will I improve? I don’t know. But looking back, it was a long journey that passed very quickly. Timid pictures, calendars, various works, frozen projects and lack of punctuality. Acquaintances. 2024 is coming to an end. I really enjoyed spending it with you, even if our interaction was not as good as before. I hope you also enjoyed being with me 🫶
This year has brought a lot of awareness and changes - I say goodbye to VKontakte and Boosty, gain new experience and a new look at myself and my actions. But it left something as it was - Health did not bring much joy, money, unfulfilled plans and promises.

For a long time it seemed to me that finding a scanner suitable for the needs of an artist is expensive and it's not easy to find one, and continuing to photograph pictures is a good way to figure out, coz I already have a camera. Since then, I have been able to imitate the work of the scanner quite skillfully, but it takes a lot of time and effort, and the result is not stable from time to time
I can't say for sure what the algorithm of my thoughts was a few weeks ago, but it led me to buy a Canon Canoscan lide 210 scanner. It has some marks on the top side and needs to be cleaned, but such things don't scare me
Now the quality of my scans has grown significantly. I will no longer have to fight with the distorted geometry and the brightness differences of the center and edges, the problems of edge blurring have gone away and the resolution has increased. And all this is 20 times faster.

The moral of this story is that there is a special tool for each job, and it does this job better than other tools :з
