Hi everyone, I've taken some time and came to the decision that I'll be putting my long-form comics (currently Pocket Boyfriend) on an indefinite hiatus. There are several reasons for this and I don't make this decision lightly. These past couple years have been a financial struggle with our changing economic climate, which I'm sure many can understand. I've had to shift focuses and take on more work to get by and it has gotten mentally and physically taxing. Comics unfortunately demand the most amount of time and effort. With Pocket Boyfriend, I've also unfortunately set a high bar for the quality I wish to put out and that put me into quite a debilitating art block attempting to meet it. I've been struggling these past couple months with these next few pages, but I can't make something I feel everyone and myself would be satisfied with.

These factors combined, I feel it's best for me to take a step back from writing, so that I can rejuvenate and focus on finishing other obligations, such as commissions and illustrations. This hiatus won't be forever, because after all, I do enjoy and want to resume making comics as that has always been my dream. For now, I just want to take a much needed break from thinking about comics 😮‍💨
