There is nothing that hasn't been done that I can't do worse. :)

Sai Painter (G)

I don't know how most of the other digital artists out there feel about this, but I get the feeling that once you've adopted one program, it's very difficult to use another.
I use Sai for my drawings, at least the line art. A little more than a month ago, my Trial Period ended *tear*. So, I was left with the bundled software that came with my tablet: Photoshop Elements 5 and Corel Painter Essentials 3. Now, I don't know if it's Corel, or just me, but somehow, Corel just didn't fell natural. No matter how hard I tried, every line I drew on that program just felt... wrong. I tried toying with all the pressure settings and all, but even the closest I got felt, well, wrong.
Now you can image trying to complete a drawing with every stroke feeling like it's out of place. Eventually, yes, I did complete one drawing, but ugh... it was awful. Both the process and the drawing.
So, just yesterday, I got a friend who also happens to use Sai to pass me her product key, so I could reactive my version of the program. To say the least, it was like being able to breathe again as far as drawing went.
So I don't know about the rest of you, but do you usually find it hard to move from one program to another?
