I thought I'd do a brief look back at my 2025.

I began the year with a leg wound from the previous November/December. The wound had healed in late-January, though a lesion was found on my right leg below the knee.

My 2005 Subaru Impreza was totaled in a late-January collision when a truck slid on an icy road, sideswiped me and drove off. I got a used 2024 Impreza to replace it.

I began doing more exercise by walking around the block and lifting weights at my dad's house. I also went miniature golfing with Dad most weeks while the weather was warm.

I attended DenFur in August. The Denver Sweet bar where the FoxTrot meet was held had closed in July, but a new bar was found for the December meet (which I missed.)

I got to see "Weird Al" Yankovic & Puddles Pity Party at the Ford Amphitheater in September.

I had Thanksgiving dinner with a singles group. I made a sweet potato casserole for the dinner.

The first snow of the season happened on December 1st. One of my car's tires went flat when I ran over a screw. I discovered my car doesn't have a spare tire.

The Rabbit Hole moved to a Second Life streaming server, then the show later moved to Saturday afternoons.

I spent Christmas with my family, then had dinner at Dave & Buster's.

I got prescription for Ozempic, which I began taking in January 2026. My weight during 2025 went from 320 in January to 285 by year's end.
