Over the past couple months we have been updating Beating the Heat to resolve the issues that stopped us from rendering it properly. The latest pages have been releasing on Patreon/Subscribestar but it's time for some public releases! expect a few new pages over the next couple of days. Page 18 and 19 are a little rough around the edges due to just how bad things were getting behind the scenes with actually managing to render it properly. but now it's been fully updated to eevee-next and the characters have received a minor overhaul while doing my best to maintain their style so there isn't too much of a change.

Eevee-next offers vastly improved richness of colors and less washed out lighting and better shadows. it also comes with having less struggles with lighting overall. It has it's on caveats and hurdles but all together it's been a huge improvement. Best of all it actually renders successfully without crashing 75% of the time!

Page 20 is the first page in the new engine and with all of the new features and should be out within the next day or so.

In other news, the current chapter of Oura's comic is coming to an end in the next few pages but I'm already in the process of setting up a bigger and more interesting comic for her! expect a teaser for that soon.

Maintaining mental health has been difficult for obvious reasons the past few months but I'm doing my best. Work has been much slower than intended but with losing access to my day job among other things I have really doubled down on focus on content for the future.

We are working on more possibilities for animations and other interesting content along with the next comic being much bigger in scope and more story driven. I thank you all for being patient with me and hope that I can continue to make content you all enjoy.
