I still got my twitter-account even though I migrated to Bluesky som time ago.

I got less and less activity and the environment got more and more toxic, so in was the right choice.

I kept it for mostly nostalgic reasons and I've only posted there a handfull of times last year, last time in May, and never really visits anymore safe for watching my follower account drop (telling me how many others keep leaving).

I have already deleted the app on my phone, doing so when I finally accidentially updated and got the butt-ugly new look showing up.

I could just have let it be, as a testament to a bygone age

But with the recent changes, a bastard AI making noncon porn and pinups on demand and the TOS claiming ownership of everything of yours, its time to put the foot down, close the door and burn the place, not looking back.

Everything will be deleted in the coming days, so... thats it.

For the people still having a present there and thinking it necessary, DO start setting up and work on a secondary account in another place so you have something to fall back on with good conscience when you finally decide to leave the place too.

... also, consider leaving already if you already DO have a secondary account running.
