I just saw Bumblebee and holy fuck what a step up from Transformers Age of Extinction.
(I didn't see The Last Knight but apparently it's even worse than Extinction)

Why?

1: The Transformers look like Transformers
2: The human protagonists are fucking likable
3: The Decepticons aren't aren't all grey and black and look different from one another, except for the jets but that's the point of the jets(Seekers)
4:The Touch is used to great effect in an important scene
5: The actions is easy to follow and more focused
6: The soundtrack is great
7: No long orange shots of super models' asses
8: No racist stereotypes
9: John Cena's character was cool and likable by the end too, and Cena did a good job

When Cliffjumper showed up, I FUCKING KNEW IT WAS CLIFFJUMPER BEFORE HE EVEN SAID HIS NAME CAUSE HE FUCKING LOOKED LIKE CLIFFJUMPER.
I was sad to see him get cut in half though. Cliffjumper gets the shaft a lot lately. He got killed in the first episode of Transformers Prime too.

This just makes me want them to toss out the Bay movies and just go forward from here. I wanna see the fucking Dinobots done this well, I wanna see more of Soundwave, Shockwave(who has his soft spoken British accent WHICH IS MY FAVORITE VOICE FOR HIM), Ratchet, Ironhide...I JUST WANT MORE.
Unlike Age of Extinction where I just felt like I wasted two hours on it that I could have spent watching The Transformers: The Movie.
