Bathroom and kitchen issues (G)
Well.. recently had a leak in the bathroom, which caused the ceiling in the kitchen to end up getting messed up and the floor in the bathroom.
After a long saga involving 3 plumbers, a leak detection company fee along with the insurance company being a completely useless bunch for a while, which only once i complained about the lack of service or help with resolving the issue , least resulted in some compensation and the refund of the leak detection fee.
Either way, looks like the new year is going to be fun, which may involve spending 2-3 days down at the parents while my bathroom gets ripped out so the damaged walls and floor can be completely redone.
The kitchen ceiling which copped a lot of damage has to be tested for Asbestos , and if positive , means the entire lot is coming out and replacing.
Thankfully the insurance assessor's come out and made recommendations to get this all sorted. as there was some existing damage from a previous leak.
Looking like 2026 is starting off with a lot of fun as work's now asking for everyone to be on site 3 days week, so that's just gonna make life even more interesting.
Wheee.
