Given everything I've seen so far? It seems very likely. Along with the new update, they're starting to roll out blanket bans on just about whatever they feel like. This on its own is very unhealthy, but they are also applying this to whatever was posted even before the update was released. They're publicly saying one thing, all while the moderator's actions tell a whole different story, very much like what Youtube has been doing lately. The only thing that kept Youtube alive for this was the fact that Google owns it. Does FA have the same safety net? No.

I predict only one of two logical outcomes thus far. Either the moderators realize their mistake with these new rules, and understand how they've gone waaaay too far and roll back their actions as a result, either with or without public apologies. Or... their income will continue to drop as more and more creators unsubscribe to FA+. Creators will leave in larger and larger numbers, fleeing to other sites, and along with them, casual users will drop to a minimum as well.

It's fine banning pedo content. You know, NSFW stuff involving depicted underage characters? But entire species, just because you can, and regardless of it being NSFW or not? You've gotta stop, FA mods.

What's happening is not just worrisome. It's embarrassing.
