okay so these were taken while i was in vacation in savannah ga last month. i went fursuiting in the 90 degree weather because i'm a crazy fox and as i was walking through a square park a whole horde of children came up to greet me. this, of course, was the highlight of my day, hopefully theirs too!!
see, when you fursuit you meet a couple different types of children. basically all of them appeared in this group. first are the kids who are a liiittle too rough. the kid squeezing my tail might have been pulling a bit too hard, but he seemed so excited that i didn't have the heart to scold him. the next kind of kid is the "smart one". they want to know why you're here, what you're wearing, how you see out of "there". the little dark-haired girl up front was determined to break the illusion. but the third kind of kid is the best kind. they see a talking fox walk by and immediately we're best friends. the two little blonde boys told me all about their day, how many toys they had with them (three balls and a little plastic shark), and complimented me on how nice and soft my fur was. kids like these, unafraid and open and full of wonder, make melting in the southern heat so worthwhile.

Quick, expose them to the horrors of the internet! (Kidding. I believe most of the internet's dark denizens know the line between reality and Nonsense Land, Earth... Heh, now I've an idea where the internet is a parallel Earth and some berk finds a portal to travel between... Then swiftly dies. XD )
My favorite type of kids are the ones that know that you're in suit, but will whisper their intelligent questions on the sly about how it all works so that they don't break the illusion for the younger ones. I see one of the boys in red behind you has a whoopee cushion in their hands. My kind of kid. :)
Summer has definitely been brutal outside for the last few months here. It doesn't make me look forward to when August's heat and humidity arrive.
