While I was away at treatment I did a lot of getting in touch with my inner voices, or my main characters. Those that know me know I have always had a close bond with certain important characters of mine, and while I have always been in touch with them I dug a lot deeper than I ever had before. I realized they represent the multitude of roles I play in my life, and SilverWing is a cumulation of them all.
Here we have Delu, my gray mouse lemur. She has always been a sad character, and represents the inner self-hate, self-pity, depression, masochism, isolation and fear that are prevalent in me. No matter what happens Delu will never be happy.
Needless to say I was having a rough day, and felt my inner Delu taking a strong hold.
