Oh they arent actually photos! I just paint them and apply self made textures accordingly to give it an authentic look!

this is a beautiful and daring angle for a furry picture. Usually they always have to have their face showing... this is probably the first furry I seen with their head turned away and it wasn't a gratuitous butt shot

Thats how you can tell someone is a good artist.

They can portray a character and emotion without even showing the face.

this looks like a scene from a scary movie, I don't know if that was intended, but I love it. it's like something is gonna happen, it's suspenseful.

God, you know, the softness and atmosphere you manage to capture through value alone in these sorts of pieces is obscenely impressive. Seriously, I don't know if I've ever seen a painter (digital or natural media) mimic the look of old/archaic photography. This scene feels super intimate and candid too in a GREAT way: a random moment captured by one of this creature's friends while they stood waist-deep in the water at night, fumbling with their polaroid camera (or something).

It's definitely what I strive for with my work since the aesthetic of "lofi" photography and traditional processing is very appealing to me.
