All coloured! My wrist hurts now from doing this all in one day, but I'm actually really proud of how it came out.
This is Culver, my alternate fursona whom I've felt rather attached to lately. He's a very flawed person, though he tries not to be. He's insomniatic and often forgets to eat, and generally takes quite poor care of himself when not reminded. He also chainsmokes constantly and is nothing resembling a pleasant person when separated from his nicotine.
Anatomy on this was heavily based off my RL self. I've lost a lot of weight lately and look like death...which coincidentally makes me a perfect reference for him, since that's exactly how he's meant to look.

I've always been impressed by the skeletal structure of your characters! I find it's pretty hard to draw characters emaciated and still look right but you've always illustrated that really well. The shading on this one looks especially nice, particularly on the clothing lines! Really makes them look baggy on him. It's good seeing art from you again!
Ah, thanks muchly! I really try! Helps that I've got a handy reference for bones. :P I really tried hard to make the clothes hang right too, so I'm glad that worked out!
Trying to get back into the whole drawing thing after a break. Hopefully be drawing more often again!

Ah, thank you so much! You flatter me so much, mate, really! Really tried extra-hard on this one to make the clothes hang off him properly, since I know from experience that it's utterly impossible to find clothes that actually fit when tall and skinny! Got so fussy with those wrinkles. Really so pleased that people like this and are leaving such nice comments about it...really encourages me to try to be more active on here and draw more since people amazing actually seem to have missed my work!
The blue skintone is my way of depicting deathly paleness on a character with little visible skin that would look odd if I just made it plain white--anaemia makes skin so pale and unreddish that my lips turn blue sometimes, so figured a blue nose on an anaemic lynx would make sense! And blue handily gives a bit of a proper 'unhealthy' vibe, I think.
For my coloured lines, I just ink them in black (you can see the WIP has plain black ink lines), then I lock the opacity on my outline layer and just paint over them in the appropriate colour once I've got the shading laid on to match it to. Pretty simple, just looks nice once it's done!
Also, those little clawsheathes are called ungual crests? I learnt something new today!

Hmm, what program(s) are you using? I make my lines in SAI and do my colour in Photoshop. You can do it if you make your lines in Photoshop too, but SAI just makes so much sharper and crispier lines so you end up with a lot less anti-aliasing issues (which might be your problem?).
Gorgeous work.
You really have such a wonderful talent at capturing so much character and personality with your artwork. I also completely agree with the others on the look and fit of the clothing, having a beautiful portrayal of realism amidst the extremes of how slender of build the character is.
The look to his paws, ears, hair... as well as the colors and shading, all work beautifully to make a captivating image. And as I mentioned on the sketch, I love the look to the square muzzle. <3
Just a fantastic job all around, and so awesome to see you putting out work like this again.

Ta muchly mate! I really appreciate the compliments and am so happy that everybody seems to think I did a good job on this! Really makes me feel good about trying to get myself back into drawing and being more active on here, if people actually enjoy my work.
I'm rather out of practice, but I really do want to get myself back into drawing again!

Thanks! Kinda want to start doing more colour stuff again, even if it takes ages since I'm all fussy with little details that're probably too small for most people to even notice. >_>
Probably going to be drawing this guy more often, since he's officially my alternate fursona now (and lately the one I've been using more).
