Kinda makes me think of an alternate universe where bowser is their boss and owns a plumbing agency, and mario is always goofing off with luigi in your average comedy skit not doing his job.

Could even have his kids in separate little sketches, Roy the laid back college foot ball jock with a construction job on the side, Ludwig last year of highschool and he's into music, Wendy the spoiled rotten popular girl in junior year. Lemmy and Iggy the two trouble maker twins that make dad's life a pain with how much they get in trouble and always coming up with crazy inventions/experiments together(which get them in trouble), Morton the one training under his dad to one day take his place as head of the company, but is somewhat slow and impatient, and finally Larry, who gets dragged into the twin's experiments more often than not and is the most energetic one.

That's some head canon I came up with there on the spot, hm?
