The story behind this story is this:

My first mate and I met role playing in Furcadia. We used many characters. Ryan and Malandros are mine, and Kail is his. Kail was used with his permissionThis story was adapted from one of our role playing sessions. I was assigned in my college English Class to write a Fable, the only critereria being the necessity for a moral, and non-human characters. I changed TONS to make it school appropriate, it's very different from what really happened.
I fully intend to one day write what actually happened this night.
