Star is soooo freakin' cute in this page. I really like the amount of padding.
Sammy, what's the most padding you've ever worn at any one time? I'm not anywhere near as thick as Star is right now, although I have do have a diaper inside of another diaper (since I ran out of boosters), and then a thin cloth diaper over top of both of them, and plastic panties over all of that. I'm not anywhere near as thick as Star is, and I can walk just fine. Have you ever been in a situation where you have had so many diapers on you couldn't walk?

Unless the booties had some kind of curved bottom to them to prevent balance, I would say that Star's major issue is the diaper between her legs. Put on two thick diapers, a disposable and a very thick cloth diaper, and then add another cloth diaper over top of it, with a couple of booster pads inside, and you might have some concept of what Star is going through here.
In real life I don't think too many people actually get to wear padding as thick as Sammy has drawn it on Star. Her legs are sticking way out from normal, making it hard to balance.

Don't have to say it three times in aviation, it just makes it clear over the radio. But, radios are so much better today then they used to be, you can get away with it once. In fact, Mayday is barely used anymore, you just call up the controller and declare an Emergency.
Basically, 'Seattle Center, Cessna N1234 Alpha would like to declare an Emergency for dropping oil pressure' or something like that. It's clear, it's concise and it immediately tells the controller what's going on.

First of all, How. Do. You. Have. THE PERFECT ANSWER FOR EVERY QUESTION THAT ANYBODY CAN ASK YOU.
Second, I was talking about how to declare a mayday, and not what to do if there was a problem (since star said "mayday" only once so I corrected her)
Third, you still didn't say if that is only in aviation or is it a different protocol in other fields.
Fourth, according to the protocol, you HAVE to say mayday 3 times, not just for radios, but to avoid confusion with a pilot talking ABOUT a mayday call as well.
Fifth, "declaring an emergency" is for emergencies but "mayday" is for a life threatening problem. Confusing those 2 terms actually caused a few crashes.
Sixth, how the hell did we go from talking about star falling on the floor to a Cessna pilot declaring an emergency and general aviation?
