It's been probably 7 or 8 years since I've written anything like this for someone but you are Special ok.
I'm ridiculously happy that I met you - completely by chance. Your friend was streaming and I stayed up later than I should've that night, so I saw their work on FA's front page and jumped in. We kept talking after the stream and I decided pretty quick that you were alright. I know I can be a little tough to keep in touch with sometimes but I appreciate that you made the effort (for nearly a whole year!) all the way up to a month ago when I finally got to meet you in person.
It often takes me quite some time to warm up to others but I took to you quickly. Within a couple days I felt comfortable with you, even looking forward to seeing you next. I haven't made a friend like that in so long so I didn't really know how to handle it but I wasn't too worried about it. I grew so much closer to you than I ever anticipated and missed you a whole heck of a lot when we had to go home. So much I had to come visit you within a couple weeks and then get you up to Nashville with me.
It never feels like enough time, but I'm glad for what we've got. I love the adventures we've been able to go on already and it makes me excited for many more coming. I didn't mention it to you, but you've made me comfortable enough to break down my walls and grow a little bit. Like... I've never driven that long before, but I did to come see you. So much of my shyness dissipates when you're around and I feel so much stronger and bolder. I've pushed my comfort zone so much over the past month because you make me feel ok enough to do so. For once I'm not locking myself in the isolation I've found so comfortable for the past... 10 years. Hanging out with you has reignited my vigor to explore and see more of the world (so I really appreciate you taking me to the places you did!) so I feel a whole lot more excited about everything now. So many of my hindrances are just kinda melting away even with you being back home now. I just kinda feel like everything is gonna be Okay.
Somehow, being with you, being close to you, makes the world seem a lot less scary and a lot more beautiful.
You are bringing out the best in me and I only hope I can give you a sliver of what you've given me so far. I don't know what it is about you, but I know you're something incredibly special and I cannot wait to see you again.
