When the New Olympus Mons colony was founded, it had been decided that two of their chief exports was going to be bio-modifications on living subjects and the production of bio-engineered complex organic life-forms. Due to the many, many failures of the latter it was eventually ruled out, but the results have lived productive lives.

Malee and Mali were supposed to be intelligent but not sapient, a hive-mind organic gynoid. Unfortunately, despite Pinocchio Protocols being in effect, the two developed their own personalities and in accordance to New Olympus Mons law were made full private citizens. The twins resemble anthro chocolate-point Siamese cats, approximately 167 cm tall and 67 kg in weight. They have slightly bio-luminescent blue eyes, and humanlike feet. Their tails are connected at the tips.

The twins currently share a direct bio-cybernetic link via their tail interface; it nables them to transmit data to one another at computer-level speeds equivalent to a Category 5 AI. In addition, they are able to comprehend data streams at that speed. One twin will generally perform whatever computation duties they have been hired for while the other defend her sister from hacking attempts, black ice and even outside threats. Both have a reaction time approximately sixteen times normal, are capable of true multitasking, and possess memory retention superior to most commercial and government computer systems.

Personality-wise, Malee is the dominant twin and often the one to deal with customers and hacking assignments. Mali is submissive, with more of a gift for research. Both resent being considered ‘artificial’; insisting (correctly) that they lack any non-organic parts; in fact, they possess a dislike of cyborgs and will not allow even implants such as med-chips. Malee is aggressive, forward and stubborn; Mali is passive, quiet and secretive.
