"Thank you for your donation! I will make sure this goes to the right people!"
"Bill, I know you. You don't have to do your whole spiel with me." Jace commented with a dry laugh.
"I just want to make sure I get used to it!"
"Whatever you say, this is the last time I'm helping with your charity though!"
"If you say so."
Bill left, leaving Jace to his own devices. At first he didn't think much of their meeting, logging onto his computer to browse around online. However, there was something that kept bugging Jace about the whole situation with Bill. He just seemed so...nonchalant about it. Like Jace's choice didn't ultimately matter to him.
His curiosity got the better of him, and Jace went into a full research mode. Jace started having doubts about the legitimacy of the charity Bill was advertising to him. And it would seem that Jace's suspicions were real, as the charity seemed to not exist! Jace felt more than a little cheated!
"I knew it! Why would there be a charity called Keep Animals Cozy? Who would name an organization that!?" Jace was a little annoyed that he bought into what Bill was trying to sell. Of course, Jace wasn't prepared to take that lying down!
Jace knew of a special book in his local library that no one had touched in ages. Rumors had it that it was an ancient spell book, with all sorts of various magical uses ranging from simple arcaic spells to curses. While most people believed these were just rumors, some people did buy into it. One of those people were Jace, and he was intent on using it for a little bit of karmic justice.
He made his way to the library, quickly going right to where he knew the book was. It didn't take long to find, the old, dusty, and leather bound book was certainly eye catching. Jace pulled it down, taking it over to a private cubby and opening it up. A lot of the text was hard to read, or even understand as a good chunk of it were in symbols.
Luckily for Jace, it wasn't too hard to figure out the bad spells from the good one. He was able to locate those that were meant to do harm, though not on a physical level. That was around the level Jace wanted to take the revenge. Nothing too permanent either if he could help it. Something that would effect Bill somehow...
Jace looked around at the curses he could inflict and would ultimately settle on one that causes bad luck. It seemed like the perfect punishment. It wasn't necessarily direct, and Bill wouldn't even know that it was Jace who was responsible for his sudden chain of unfortunate outcomes. And after it wore off he would be able to teach Bill a lesson in lying.
Jace checked the book out, while a bit of a surprise to the librarians wasn't questioned too hard. That was something he was thankful for, it would be quite awkward to explain what he had planned to do with it. With the easy part out of the way, Jace had to figure out how to properly inflict the curse to Bill. He didn't have too much time to figure it out, since Bill's schedule was seemingly random. He only knew that he was going to be eating out with his girlfriend at a local diner. The perfect opportunity to strike.
He set up a little post across the street from where Bill would be meeting his girlfriend. During this little "waiting game," Jace looked through more of the spell book, attempting to make sense of what was going on with it. Jace quickly discovered that he was in far over his head trying to decipher about anything the book said. This led to Jace starting to have second thoughts about using it. He didn't want to accidentally do something harmful to him for a simple scam. They were still friends after all.
However, these thoughts would be interrupted with Bill showing up. Any of the worry left him, and after Jace saw Bill wearing a nice new outfit all of his anger about the whole thing re-surfaced. Bill waited outside the dinner, sitting on the bench seemingly waiting for his girlfriend to arrive. This would be Jace's chance to strike, and he was sure he was going to use it.
Jace quickly found the page he had researched earlier, getting ready to cast the spell. He put his finger down on the book, moving his fingers along the lines while holding out his free hand towards Bill. He struggled a little trying to read the words, it was hard considering they weren't in English, or any language he recognized for that matter.
"Ga ru...tol taloon.." Jace began to read the spell as best he could. He seemed to of done it right, as both the book and hand began to glow. His eyes widened, not quite expecting it to go down the way it did. None the less, Jace continued reading the spell, but worry started to set in when nothing seemed to be happening to Bill but rather, Jace himself. The glow started surrounding his whole body instead. Not only that, some sort of circle rune formed under him and glowed just as brightly. The book suddenly closed as the light became near blinding. Jace couldn't see anything, only feel what was going on with his body.
"This wasn't supposed to affect me!"
Jace's whole body would feel itchy, and that would be due to white, tan, and brown fur growing all over Jace's body. At his hips, a kind of swirl pattern formed there in a light, redish brown color. This would also be present at his ankles. The same color of the swirl formed at the tips of his ears, tan on the rest of them. His feet became covered with tan fur, while the same color was at his shoulders. On his hands, brown fur grew out now covered with it. A large ruffle of white fur formed at his neck and chest, all soft and fuzzy.
The changes were far from over, starting with Jace's head. For starters, his ears found themselves moving to the top of his skull, all while they became much larger and triangular in shape. Jace's eyelashes elongated, eyes gaining a much more feminine look. His face stretched itself out
to form into a muzzle, his nose turning a dark brown color. On his left cheek a mole that showed through his fur had also formed. All of Jace's hair was gone, only left as a tuft of fur at the top of his head.
As the transformation hit Jace's body, it would start taking on feminine tones. Jace's shoulders lost their broadness, his arms slinking down to become proportionate with them. At Jace's chest, two modest orbs of flesh found themselves expanding out from there. His figure would contort itself, granting him a thin waist, wide hips, plump butt, and of course shapely legs. This would leave Jace's body feminine looking as the hourglass figure completed itself.
Between Jace's legs, womanhood would find itself replacing his manhood, driving the sex change home for her. Out from behind her, a large and bushy tail burst out. The bottom of it was white, with the top being tan and the tip brown. Jace's feet became much larger, going up onto their toes as they became three digited paws and her legs digitigrade. The glow and circle both dissipated leaving Jace as a female wolf.
Jace dropped the book, looking down at her new body in complete shock. She curiously felt at it, unable to find any kind of emotion to feel. She looked across the street, seeing Bill meet with his girlfriend and enter into the building, the two looking more than happy to see each other. Frankly, it made Jace feel a little bad about the whole thing. Here she planned to ruin those two's date. Sure, Bill had scammed him but he didn't want to come and mess with something like that...
"Hey miss, we can see your butt." a man pointed out behind Jace as he walked past her.
"My...what?" Jace shot up straight with wide eyes, feeling behind her and seeing that her tail and torn apart the back end of her pants. Blushing harshly, she rushed away from the scene, it seems like she had been cursed with some bad luck too!
