Realized I never posted this here! I'll copy/paste the description from my dA post:



After 10 long years Kailani has an official reference sheet! A ref sheet for her has been asked for ages now, so I'm glad to finally be able to deliver. This was primarily funded via the lovely patrons on my Patreon! I'll be working on Feddy's ref over the next month if things go well!
She hasn't changed significantly over the years, but there have been a lot of subtle anatomy tweaks and color changes. She's still a horrible sparkly abomination but at least this version is more manageable to recolor a million times!

I'll keep her info more generalized, since she's in the comic and all and there's no point in me telling when you can see it yourself. But just in case!

Personality:
Kailani is generally a happy individual with a keen sense of curiosity (sometimes to the point she sticks her nose where she doesn't belong). She is also very self-conscious and can become nervous very swiftly when thrown out of her comfort zone. She is not necessarily shy, though, and enjoys talking with people so long as they don't treat her oddly.

Bio:
Kailani grew up in the foster care system and was cared for by her legal guardian Finnie, along with her other fostered siblings. Finnie is considered to be their mother, but everyone typically calls her by her name. Kailani does not know who her true parents are, or even if she had any. Being a hybrid between a Lanive and an Ambivian, which cannot be conceived naturally (see this chart for details!), Kailani is aware she is a product of scientific meddling. She often wonders why such a rarity as herself was thrown into the wild of society, a place where hybrids like herself are rarely seen or welcomed...

Other:
• She has a learning disability, which means she has trouble with reading, writing, math, etc. She's very self-conscious of this, so she will avoid reading or writing if she can help it.
• She has subpar vision and hearing, but an excellent sense of smell.
• She is a fantastic swimmer! Although she'd be better if her fluffy tails didn't get in the way.

Artist Notes:
• I'm not at all picky about how she is drawn, if you wish to draw her (she's complicated AF so I'm not gonna get anal about it lol) all I really ask is her antennae, legs, and snoot be as correct as possible.
• Her fluffy tails have 4 spots each when I draw her but I don't actually care. You can give her a million spots and it's fine!
• She's supposed to be a lil chubby-ish with a hint of muscle, but I suck at drawing people not stick-thin. I'm working on it, though! But that IS her "true" physique.
• The outfits can be anything, these are just samples (yes, the orange one would be her revamped dress from Chapter 1 if I ever redid it!). It is important to note, that while she can wear anything, I usually don't draw her in outfits that logically she would struggle to get over her head (with giant snoot and stiff ears n all) so that's why all her outfits have her with more open tops (her main purple outfit actually clips together around her neck, it's just not very visible). So she's keen to wearing dresses she can step in or a lot of halter tops (but button ups and jackets are totally plausible too. Just think... no tshirts or pullovers. But you can draw her in some if you want, I don't care, this is just technical facts).
