You can't spell Chaos without Chao. These little floating bastards used to be cute and friendly. But then Robotnik conquered 80% of the planet and turned it to ass in a huge war. The Chao have always been intune with the chaotic power of nature so much that their physical appearence reflected it. So when Robotnik turned the majority of the world into an industrial, metropolitan nightmare, they changed with it. Now, they are bloodthirsty, savage beasts that can vary in size, drom the size of a basket ball to the size of the guardian of the Master Stone, Knuckless. Their meat is considered a delicasy by the Echidna elder Tikal.
