I've been wanting to get art from LoupGarou for a while now... and here it is. Not the usual stuff though. There was a couple of thinks I was thinking about getting from him. A picture of Mikia would have been great, of course. Or maybe one of my HSD characters. So many choices.

But in the end I decided to go for the "Zodisona" commissions he offers. He re-designs your 'sona based on your Chinese zodiac. Which in my case is monkey. Not my usually preferred species, but ya gotta go with what you get there. My element was metal. So we had to find a way to incorporate that. There were the obvious choices of weapons or armor. I even considered metal fur, which I think could look really neat. And I considered a character with a mechanical arm too. And that led to the thought of a character with arms made of metal. Not mechanical, but made literally of metal. They can still move and everything, but are metal. Which in turn led to the idea of a smith who doesn't need a hammer to work metal. Not everyone can go out and be a hero after all. For one, that rarely pays the bills. So into the forge I go. Supplying said heroes with weapons is much more lucrative :)

I think it came out great. LoupGarou has such an amazing style, especially when he does stuff related to the Chinese zodiac. And the hammer marks on the blade being imprints of his fist is a great touch
