I’m not too proud to accept help in a situation like this, in fact I’m quite thankful for any help I can get that makes my life on this gods-forsaken island easier. That’s not to say I can’t do it by myself, but it’s a whole lot nicer when I don’t have to.

The ninth image in the series from the incredible  toughset of my OC, Ember, who is quite literally in over her head in danger, but it appears that a rescue may well be forth-coming, assuming whoever is on the other end of that rope is up to the task. Hmm,… would this technically count as the ninth, tenth and eleventh images?

A lovely three panel sequence that gives a great feeling of motion, not only of her sinking deeper and deeper, accentuated by her hair getting shorter atop the surface as she sinks further down, but of her reaching and grabbing of the rescue rope. Her focused expression in the first panel is great, her furrowed brows as her eyes are locked on the rope, even as the quicksand rises to her nose, she still retains that great No-Fear attitude she’s displayed all throughout this series. Her hair continues to look lovely, so full and fluffy as it spreads on the surface, with that lovely shine, and those vibrant red tips. The quicksand looks so thick and heavy as it sucks her down, with that bit of mounding up around her arm, and rippling, with those few bubbles providing a nice touch. The movement of the rope is great as well, especially in the last panel, appearing to be pulled very taut between her and her rescuing, the tension lines around it providing a great accent. An absolutely beautiful submergence sequence rendered by Toughset.

Another great addition to this incredible series. Thank you very much Toughset, I know submergence isn’t your cup of tea, so I really appreciate you doing this for me. :)
