Looking for a DMC-12.
Any year
Running condition
No frame rust/rot
Automatic transmission preferred (Don’t want to learn stick on a vintage.)
Gas flap hood preferred, but not a dealbreaker.
I couldn’t care less about mileage, the plan is to make this a weekend driver, not a museum collectable.
Budget’s $35k or less.
I’ve been looking around for my dream car for several years now, so any additional help finding leads to the right one would be greatly appreciated; or heck, if you actually have a DeLorean to sell, please let me know through a DM or email.

Those are so cool! I know CooperTom has one - probably not for sale, but maybe he has some tips for ya!
Hit up http://dmctalk.org/ thats where i bought mine, they have an entire for sale section you can post "looking for" in too.
the frames are made of several thin layers of metal pressed together then laminated in an hard epoxy. over time the frames on the cars flex, like all frames do, and cracks develop to let moisture in, and since its a bunch of thin layers instead of solid metal the frames literally disintegrate and its impossible to repair without completely rebuilding the frame itself.
Make sure you get the PCM sorted. The auto transmission control part of those modules like to die and burn up the clutchpacks and drums when they start making slow shifts. Oh and If you plan on maintaining it yourself, make sure you replace the fuel lines, radiator hoses, fuel filter and sparkplugs and wires. Those are really common failure points on any old car, but on a DeLorean it's not exactly fun to fix on the side of the road, when the engine bay has about enough room to maybe get a ratchet in to tighten a belt. Anyway that's my 2-cents. Good luck on the car!
Dont think there are any Deloreans left that cost less then 40k and are in good shape. If it wasnt for Back to the Future - they would be more cheaper since it's considered a clunkly designed car with several severe problems that are very noticable when you start driving it. It's ok to see some Deloreans having milage below 30k for that reason :D
But if you want to - you can check out this site and ask about the cheapest one there - https://www.delorean.com/inventory-used.htm
Here is one for 31k - https://classiccars.com/listings/fi.....years/delorean
But be ready to pay more money because any "been used" car will require repair works. And since it's Delorean - it would probably require rare parts or analogies
Actually, there are far better analogies with automatic transmission included. For example - Toyota Corolla 1980 Coupe. It's a classic 80s coupe design, still very popular, especially if future owner wants a sleeper car. Only real downside - almost all of them have driving wheel from the right, not left.

Not sure if you’ve heard or if you’d be interested but a company in Texas is making electric Delorians. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti.....ectric-vehicle
